Intentional Creativity - Bringing Your Intentions to Life
Intentional Creativity - Bringing Your Intentions to Life
The painting method I teach, called Intentional Creativity, invites you to bring your soul’s story to the canvas, weaving it into each brushstroke. Layer by layer, color by color, a dialogue emerges between you and the canvas—bridging the physical and mystical realms.
We always begin with a theme and a clear intention. Each step reveals new insights, both in design and consciousness, leading to breakthroughs. As awareness unfolds, old stories that may have limited you—some even hidden from your conscious mind—are released, creating space for transformation.
Creating art is an act of deep self-expression, fulfilling our innate desire to be seen, heard, and loved. Whether we realize it or not, we often create from this place. However, choosing to create with intention sharpens our focus, guiding us to the wisdom that is ready to emerge. We access memory and longing, yet we don’t force the breakthrough—it flows organically. This is the essence of being in alignment, allowing what is ready to unfold to do so. The energy is always present, supporting our journey of self-discovery.
As we paint, new space opens within us. Once a story is transferred to the canvas, its grip on our subconscious loosens. We can then consciously decide how to work with the newly created space within our internal narrative.
Tuning into Your Creative Frequency
Connecting with intention is like finding a clear radio signal. It opens pathways to our subconscious and unconscious, allowing layers of awareness to surface through the creative process. What needs to be addressed next naturally reveals itself.
Art is inherently beneficial, but whether it becomes a healing force depends on a single factor—our conscious choice to engage in the creative process with intention. Many artists find their work cathartic or life-affirming, yet true healing occurs when we purposefully use art as a tool for self-discovery. This is why we call it Intentional Creativity.
My Journey with Intentional Creativity
In 2012, I attended a transformative art retreat in New York City called Taboo, where we painted the unspoken truths that longed for release. In a beautiful loft in Little Italy, I found my way back home to myself. Shiloh Sophia McCloud, founder of the Color of Woman School, was an inspiring guide, encouraging women to step into their creative power. Her vision led me to enroll in her teacher training program, where I became certified in this method. Today, I am honored to teach Intentional Creativity and witness the powerful transformations of the women who paint with me.
Born and raised in New York City, with Italian roots embedded in the heart of Little Italy, I grew up seeing Ferrara’s Bakery from my window. At the retreat, we explored deep themes—our body’s messages, love in all its forms, spirituality, and creativity. Writing and painting these stories onto canvas illuminated my beliefs and set me free in ways I never expected.
That weekend in New York changed everything. I returned home feeling fully alive, with a renewed passion for color and painting. My Soul Fire burned bright, and I knew I had found my creative tribe.
Join Me in South Florida
Now in South Florida, I invite you to step into your creative soul and paint with us. Through writing and painting the feminine image, you will connect with your muse, who will guide you to release the stories ready to transform. This is more than just painting—it’s an experience of self-discovery, healing, and artistic expression.
Your canvas becomes a mirror, reflecting the beauty, wisdom, and power within you. Allow yourself to be seen. Allow your story to be told. And most importantly, allow your art to be YOU.
I love hosting art classes that allow women of all experience levels to tap into their inner creative self. You can find out about upcoming events on my Facebook Page Soul Food after 40
